Killer 7-esque game to be released 2013

Grasshopper, developer of Suda51-directed surrealist oddities Killer 7 and No More Heroes, has announced a new game by the name of ‘Killer is Dead’.

Set to follow the studio’s rainbow-cheerleader-zombie hack and slash Lollipop Chainsaw, ‘Killer is Dead’ will be released for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2013.

With industry legend Goichi “Suda51” Suda as lead director, ‘Killer is Dead’ returns to a story akin to Killer 7, while not being a direct sequel. Taking control of a prisoner who has been sentenced to die, you goal is to kill your assassin. The game will feature No More Heroes style swordplay with new additions.
